I was hired to work with Tripledot on a really fun and beautiful merge game. I was responsible for building a light narrative world to wrap around the gameplay and we settled on a classic story of a woman quitting her job in the city to follow her dreams and become a party planner. The level stories revolved around the crazy clients and her wonderful eccentric family - it was a lovely opportunity to write some really broad and funny characters.
The challenge with this project was to find plot which was just hooky enough to keep the player engaged by the characters and their journey, yet very very light and not too overwhelming.
