I'm a London based writer who started working in video games in 2014 (my previous jobs included barista, teacher, marketing manager and a truly ridiculous summer as an ice cream man).
After several years of working in-house at Mediatonic and Space Ape Games, I went freelance in 2021 and couldn't be happier. I love responding to a client's brief - whether that's formulating new expressions of narrative design to allow players to interact with storytelling in an entirely original way, or writing fart jokes.
My passions include queer cinema, grand strategy games, stand-up comedy and Laura Dern.
As well as my work in games, I am also a passionate screenwriter. I've made a few short films - you can see details of them here.
I won the Page International Screenwriting Award (Best Short Film) 2009 with my film The Romance Class. It was made into a film in 2015 by BBC Scotland and BECTU. It is available to watch here.
